What better gift than the gift of practical healthy gifts for the holidays!
Healthy Holiday Gift Guide
It’s that time of year again! The holiday season. What I love most about the Holidays is that it is a time to gather with friends and family, reflect on the past year, and make goals for the New Year. It is a time of gratitude, reflection, and an opportunity to grow.
A huge trend I see people making, including myself, for the New Year is to focus on health. This could range from weight loss, starting a new training program, wanting to eat clean, to just wanting to reduce toxins in their environment.
I wanted to provide some simple, yet practical, holiday gift ideas for someone or for yourself. These are items that I frequently recommend in my practice and that also make good gifts! By clicking on the picture or the links below, will take you to our Amazon page where you can easily order them. Shopping can be that simple and healthy!
Enjoy!

For the essential oil lover
Essential oils are great to diffuse in your home or office. They can help to purify the air aka so you don’t get sick! Diffusing the oils can also help with sleep or to calm anxiety. I like this diffuser because it not only is stylish but does not leave a residue of steam that some diffusers do. It also has longer ON times. Common essential oils I recommend to help purify are Eucalyptus, a Purify Blend, or Lemon. Lavender is a good option to diffuse to help with anxiety and sleep. You really only need 1-2 drops so a bottle will go a long ways.

Giving fun cookbooks is always a good thing!
This is my FAVORITE cookbook! Not just for those eating Keto and low-carb but for anyone looking for EASY and DELICIOUS recipes. Maria Emmerich has several cookbooks out there, all are great, but what I like about this one is that each recipe is very simple, easy to make, and takes less than 20 minutes. I have been recommending this book left and right this year. It truly is a perfect gift!

Can I say, coffee!
Who does not love coffee?! As you all know I am a coffee-snob. I have been using the Aeropress to make my coffee now for over a year. LOVE IT!!! It is so easy to use and literally makes the best cup of coffee. It is not just “drinking any kind of coffee” but having the best quality and tasting coffee. Make your daily cup count! Aeropress

For those goal-oriented people
Planners are great gifts because everyone can benefit from them. Even though the majority of us store everything on our phones now. I am still a fan of writing your goals down and tracking them. It is a way to stay focused and productive. I have found this planner to do just that.

More Books!
And of course, you can’t go wrong with a copy of Yours’ truly: Starting Point Guide to Gluten-free Living! This is perfect for someone who is struggling to go gluten-free or recently diagnosed with IBS or food allergies and needs a simple plan to get started. It also includes some yummy GF recipes and tips on how to survive holiday parties while going gluten-free! A must read!
Any book by Louise Hay should be on your reading list. Meditations to Heal Your Life by Louise Hay is a very practical guide to help reframe our mindset going into the New Year. As Louise Hay says “If you don’t know how to change your mind, you can’t change your experience.” Mindset is the first step in reaching whatever goal it is you are reaching. These meditations can help to refocus your mind, heal your heart, and create a more positive life experience. We can all use some of that! Other books by Louise Hay: Mirror Work and Heal Your Life.
Happy Holiday Season!
