What is Trigger Point Therapy?

If you are suffering from an acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain, trigger point therapy maybe right for you.

Trigger points are areas located in muscles that produce referred patterns of pain when pressed or irritated. This can lead to chronic muscle pain, persistent pain, headaches, migraines, spasms, and decreased range of motion.

Pain Relief Injections

Pain relief injections can help with a wide range of pain conditions such as frozen shoulder, neck pain, low back pain, and knee pain.

What causes trigger points?

Most commonly they are the result of overuse injury for example computer work, tennis/golfer’s elbow, excessive activity, or trauma which compresses local nerves.

How do you treat trigger points?

Trigger points can be treated with injection of natural substances such as homeopathic remedies or specific vitamins or minerals. The injections work to decrease inflammation, break the pain cycle, improve blood flow, and promote healing.

Trigger point therapy is very safe and typically an exam and allergy test is done prior to injection, most people report immediate reduction in symptoms.

Typically, 1-2 injections a week for several weeks, works synergistically with other alternative treatments like acupuncture for faster and more long-term resolution of pain.
